      Call For Abstracts

      Submission deadline:

      March 15th

      We are excited to announce that abstract submission for the 13th Fragility Fracture Network Global Congress Porto 2025 is now open!  

       

      Submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation and have the opportunity to share your expertise with colleagues all across the world.  The top ranked abstract submissions will be published in the Journal of Geriatric Orthopaedic Surgery & Rehabilitation.  

       

      Abstracts need to address at least one of the key areas of the FFN Pillars and can be relevant for an individual who has sustained any type of fragility fracture:  

      • Acute multidisciplinary care: pre and post-operative
      • Rehabilitation and ongoing post-acute care
      • Rapid secondary prevention after first fracture to prevent future fractures
      • Changing health care through a policy lens

       

      We accept submissions that informed care through one or more of the following:

      • Findings from research studies
      • Findings from a quality improvement activity
      • Implementation strategies that improve care for patients
      • Models of care in development or implementation
