CAR/ESRA Portugal is a non profit organization of Anaesthesiologists dedicated to the promotion of regional anaesthetic techniques and pain medicine.

2016 is the year that CAR/ESRA Portugal develops an international program, in order to:

Improve outcome in patients with chronic pain syndromes by practicing diagnostic ultrasound skills on models and utilizing current best practice guidelines on interventional and pharmacological management.

Incorporate current best practice guidelines into own clinical setting, debating guidelines across the world and round tables of key issues in regional anaesthesia and pain medicine.

Update current knowledge on regional anaesthesia, ultrasound application in anaesthesiology, pain medicine and management, critical care and complications management.

Disseminate current state of the art anaesthesiology issues to clinical practitioners and residents of anaesthesiology, pain medicine, emergency medicine and critical care.
